Dubrovnik to Split.

Happy wedding Anniversary Carolyn.

There is a plane that leaves at 10pm to Split via Zegrab where we will get in about midnight.

So we have opted to catch a local bus to Split via Bosnia. Must admit there was some thought we are crazy.

Got to the bus station with no reservation at 7am.
Walked up to the ticket office bought tickets and pointed toward a big blue bus that leaves at 7:15.
Just under $50 for both of us!

Off we went, a full size bus with only 8 of us on board.
It was great and followed along the coast, really scenic. Bosnia border was the next challenge.
Bus stopped at the border, no que for the bus. An officer walked onto the bus briefly looked at everyone's passport and to us he said "have a nice trip" and that was it. Leaving Bosnia was the same.

Approaching Bosnia we could see a long wall for the border.

The area of Bosnia we went through was a holiday village and looked quite nice.

Not to mention their food!

Back into Croatia, we passed a sigh which called the area "The living Valley". A large area with man made irrigation channels growing mainly citrus.

Then a large area where our favorite vegetable is grown "Grapes".

We got to Split at lunchtime, great little adventure.

Went down to the docks to see where our boat will dock tomorrow morning.
