Last day of our holiday.

Tomorrow we have a 6:15 flight so going to make our last day reasonably slow.
Had a quick look at the fish market to see all that fresh squid I have been eating.

That's it I need seafood for lunch.
Purple Octopus salad!

Last look in some of the squares.

I will just check to make sure there is nothing else to write about

We compared notes and that's about it.

Ciao for now!

Krka National Park and Sibenik

Early start our day tour commences at 8am. Good news 3 people on tour including us!
We are off to Krka National Park, which is a place ducks go to for a holiday.

It is a whole series of small lakes at different elevations connected by waterfalls.
Boardwalks have been built getting you close to the amazing falls.

It is also the site of the first hydro electric power station in Europe. Parts of the original building are still there and an original turbine

They have also restored a little villiage which once thrived using the fst flowing water for grain milling and processing wool.

We leave the park and duck back to Sibenik.

Not much in Sibenik except a large cathedral and great promenade along the waterfront.

The drive home was along the coast past some great little villages.

Catching up with old friends

We were kicked of out boat at 8:30. Took our bags to the hotel and did some exploring of the old town.
Starting with the markets. Good fresh produce.

Into the walled city area, big roman influence

Then after lunch we catchup with some old friends from Perth who are spending our winter sailing around the Croation coast.

Carolyn has her sea legs and ready to be a pirate.
Ahoy me arty's
